I went to Taco Bell today and they had pictures like this hanging up all over the place. Thought it was creative for Taco Bell. Could also be b/c it's only 8 months old.

Took this today as I was making a trip to Target. Obviously, I was stopped. But yeah, who would do that to a precious stop sign? I bet it was some kids who had nothing better to do with their time.

My best friend gave me this book to borrow after I spent a horrible 3 months trying to figure out why a certain guy was acting the way he was. Let me say, I recommend this book to any girl who has to question why a guy is leaving her completely clueless. It gives you so much perspective about things and makes you feel good, even if it is a little harsh. READ IT.
I am going to buy this when I get a real job.

And, they're making a movie out of it. SO going to see that.

I can't decide what's scarier: the fact that my brother will be 17 AND a senior in high school this fall, or the fact that he's driving.

I think I'll go with driving.

My mom and my little brother came down to help me move all my stuff back home and we went to Panera for dinner. My brother is a teenager, so he was throwing his food at me. The picture shows one of the things he threw at me, which he actually made himself. I thought it was cool looking, so I told him to take a picture of it with his phone since mine wasn't cooperating. Hence the crappy picture quality.

So, since I am leaving on Sunday and Jenn is going home this weekend, I went to the train station with her so we could say goodbye. I like how half her face has a shadow on it and the other half doesn't.

Packing, packing, packing. How the heck do I have so much stuff when I lived on a volunteer stipend all year? There is no way I accumulated that much.

So my job had a little going away party for me today and we had a little photo shoot. Most of the pictures came out blurry b/c my coworker has a shaky hand. I think that this is the best one. That's one of my girls, Tia, and her daughter Faith. I hate to play favorites, but I think that's what they have become. I am really going to miss them. I just felt a twinge of sadness. =/

So the remaining 3 roomies and I went to see The Dark Knight today and they put us in a special line since we got there about 35 minutes early. This was the few from the upstairs. I bet every single one of those people were going to see the same movie as us. Ok, maybe not every single person.

We had a girls' night for Jess's last night in DC at a place called "Pirate's Cavern" or tavern or something or other. Really cheesy place, but we had a lot of fun together.

One of my girls at work is taking a summer class and I stayed at work until almost 6 helping her with a paper. We weren't finished and she had to go pick up her daughter at Columbia Heights. I offered to ride with her while we worked on the paper. If you live in DC, you would know to transfer at Ft. Totten to get to the red line. Well, I totally wasn't paying attention and I learned that the ride from Ft. Totten to West Hyattsville is quite a long one. Hence this picture.

I went to the eye doctor today to get a regular checkup and found out that there is an infection in my left meaning that I will have to wear my glasses all week. =( So, I bought myself starbucks to make me feel better for the moment.

My friend Pam always says that she going to send mail and then never does. When she came to visit me, she told me that she would send me a NYC postcard b/c she was going there before she went back to Colorado. Well, that was a month ago, and I honestly didn't think I was going to get one. Much to my surprise, I found this waiting for me when I got home!
